The Holy Father begged the Bishops of the world and their priest to call on the Name of Jesus and to urge their peoples to place all their confidence in this all powerful Name, Repeating it constantly with boundless trust. Their efforts came with great success, the enemies of the Church were overthrown, the dangers that were threatened society… disappeared.
In this powerful little book “The Wonders of the Holy Name”, written by Fr. Paul O’ Sullivan, O.P.; there are many historical encounters of God’s people calling upon Him and their being saved.
Everyone can invoke this holy name hundreds of times a day, not only for his own intentions, but also to ask God to deliver the world from impending ruin.
There is but one remedy and that is prayer…
Abba, Father, You are Almighty, the Alpha and the Omega… You are so powerful, so awesome... all things are possible with you! Draw us together to pray for one another, for the world, that we all turn our hearts to you. You can draw up from the stones the right leadership for our countries. You can eliminate all EVIL... You are a God of Love and Compassion...forgive us, O' Lord, for our sins are mighty. We ask You to bring the right people to govern our land... the world countries. Give us the gift of discernment n' let us choose wisely. Lord, restore our nation to be a nation under God, a nation of freedom. Our rights have been slowly taken away; lies and deceits have assaulted us, we have eroded into a mass of apathy. Breathe into us Lord new life, new strength, and a vision of Your Will. We leave it in Your Hands; show us what we need to do.
Surround us with your Almighty Army of Holy Angels to protect us and minister to us. Let there be mass conversions, the veil removed from the eyes of lost souls. Thank you, Father, God, thank you... Mother Mary hide us under your mantel, St. Joseph pray for us, All Saints pray for us! Please, turn our hearts to you, our eyes to you Lord Jesus... Jesus…Jesus..Jesus…Jesus…Jesus…Jesus…Jesus…
