Abba, Father, We Adore You...

Luke 2: 28-32, 34-35 ...he took him up in his arms and blessed God and said "Lord, now let me, your servant depart in peace, according to your word; for my eyes have seen your salvation which you have prepared in the presence of all people... a light for revelation to the Gentiles and for glory to your people Israel."...and Simon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, "Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign that is spoken against (and a sword will pierce through your own soul also), that thoughts out of many hearts may be revealed."

I truly believe these powerful words...the blessings of the Messiah's reign is promised to all people... the Jews and the Gentiles. Simeon gives us an example of powerful prayer... when he gives praise and thanksgiving unto God, he blesses God... he then blesses the holy family. The more I keep my thoughts and images on this moment in time... the more I feel like I am there in the presence of this scared ritual of presenting Jesus to our Lord God.
I feel drawn to blessing God in my every thought and action of life.

This video is done as a decade of the rosary, ten statements, each to help you meditate on the mystery of the presentation of Jesus in the Temple. Here we find Mary listening to the prophecy of Simeon.

Keep our eyes upon Jesus...lay our lives before him... how we love him!

Heal Our World, Lord...

The Book of Genesis tells us that God created the world through His speech. And God said, "Let there be..." is the formula of creation.

Psalms 33: 6-9

By the word of the Lord the heavens were made and all their host by the word of his mouth. He gathered the waters of the sea as in a bottle; he put the deeps in storehouses. Let all the earth fear the Lord, let all the inhabitants of the world stand forth in awe of him! For he spoke and it came to be; he commanded and it stood forth.

If you do not know Vassula, I would like to introduce you... she is Greek Orthodox and as a prophet of today has written down her conversations with Jesus that we may be encouraged. Through these writings one can see an account of a loving initiative that comes from God. Pope Benedict encourages us to become familiar with Vassula’s writings… with the Messages… from our Lord Jesus.

Please visit her website: http://tlig.org/ … there you can see interviews with Vassula and you can read about the position of the Church and True Life in God spirituality.

As Cardinal Franjo Kuharic, Archbishop of Zagreb says…

"What she says conforms to Gospel truth"

I receive the Messages from her website and just a few days before Russia moved into Georgia, "The Prophecy of Russia"came in. My oldest son had just returned from Georgia a day or so prior to Russia's invasion. So with all this in mind, I began praying and believe in my spirit that we need to be in prayer, unceasing prayer for healing Love and Peace to fill the land. I ask you, please join me in prayer...

O' Faithful and True; Lord of lords and King of kings... I know that if you command healing peace n' love in Russia and Georgia it will be, it stands forth. Please speak it into being. May you speak to all who call on you in their hour of need that it stands forth, that it is manifested! Lord of lords, King of kings anything you speak, anything you command... HAPPENS!

Everything is possible with you... Jesus... Jesus... Jesus...

Peace and Blessings be with you!

Mary, The Mother of God...

I remember, many years ago when all I thought of Mary was just as the mother of Jesus... nothing more, certainly not the Mother of God... nor did I comprehend the magnitude of the "Virgin Birth". I'm not really sure when that understanding started to change; thinking back I do believe it was the moment I truly..., from the depths of my heart... turned to God, the Father, God, the Son, God, the Holy Spirit... to the Trinity. I just know, that Mary has become my mother as well. Each time I come before the Holy Family in prayer, there is an inner sense of assurance of who She is...

Mary, The Sanctuary of God...

This video is done as a decade of the rosary. Ten statements, each done so you can meditate on the Annunciation of Jesus to Mary. The rosary is a meditative prayer, and we meditate, and remember the moment as told in the bible, when the angel came to Mary, asking her if she would be the Mother of our Savior. The moment is very deep, as it teaches us about the humility of Mary, her obedience to God, and it reminds us that she was a part of Gods plan for our salvation. As you say the rosary, place yourself in the room with Mary, as the angel appears to her, telling her of Gods plan for her, and for us. This beautiful song is sung by my friend Maureen Hegarty, (Maureenderry) on youtube. By Steve Silvia.

And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her from the Lord... And Mary said, "My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior..." Luke 1: 45-47

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help or sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee. O Virgin of Virgins my Mother! To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate! Despise not my petitions but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

"Immaculate Heart of Mary pray for us, now and at the hour of our death. Amen."

A Study in Clay

I often wonder...
"
What would happen... If I looked at my experiences, as watching the Potter taking a chunk of raw clay mold it, and form it, into a vessel of pure beauty…"
Lead is turned to gold... Misfortune changes to fortune... Disease leads to a
greater healing. Many times we are healthier after a disease than we were before it.
Would my life change if I accepted my problem as a solution? Knowing that whatever the problem, (be it psychological or physical, financial, professional, interpersonal, etc.), when properly looked at leads to a greater outcome then before.

"Think good, positively and it will be good…” This too is for the good, the best... No matter what happens, accept it as Divine Providence, even the mistakes are necessary." These thoughts, this attitude will change my life!

As in this ancient Chinese story about a farmer whose only horse ran away. His neighbor commented, "That's too bad." To which the farmer replied, "You can't be sure." When the horse returned followed by twelve wild mares the neighbor said, "That's terrific." To which the farmer replied, "Don't speak too soon." Then, when the farmer's son broke his leg trying to break the wild horses, the neighbor intoned, "That's a pity." "Wait and see," counseled the farmer. And then the army came through the village and didn't draft the son into a war from which few returned, because he had a broken leg.

I love this image of seeing “life” as a house. Try it, and imagine your emotions as objects in the house. You can see some things are out of place: Maybe you find a bed in the kitchen (Now why is that there?); you can't prepare a meal on it and it's hard to sleep with everyone coming and going. The frying pan doesn't make sense in the bedroom either. Remember these are emotions and they are valid; they just might be out of place. The denied anger needs a place, instead of inappropriately being blamed on others. Disease needs a home, or at least a room in the house.

So a little remodeling needs to be done, build a room with a beautiful interior and filled with Healing Light, the light of Jesus, in the house, let these negative emotions live there until Jesus and you can clean them up a bit (like the misplaced anger, maybe forgiveness is needed and the’ dis-ease’ is comforted) and then invite them to the front of the house. They are apart of your experiences, the threads in the tapestry of your life and when healed will create a stronger beautiful vessel.

Isaiah 64:8
Yet, O Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our Potter, and we all are the work of Your hand.

All The Works of Our Lord Are Good

O' Spirit Divine...let there be love and renewed prosperity in my life and let it cover over the earth!

Jesus says to his children,
"
Listen to Me then and blossom, give off a sweet smell like incense, spread your fragrance abroad, bless Me your Lord for all My Works, declare the greatness of My Name, proclaim how wonderful My Providential Works can be." (from Vassula)

Psalm 133... Behold, how good and how pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down upon the beard, upon the beard of Aaron, running down upon the collar of his robes! It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion: For there the Lord commanded the blessing... life for evermore.

Psalm 134 Come bless the Lord, all you servants of the Lord, who stand by night in the house of the Lord. Lift up your hands to the holy place, and bless the Lord! May the Lord bless you from Zion, he who made heaven and earth!

A Matter of Time...

I truly believe a new day is on us, a time when the Holy Spirit is covering the earth. A call is being heard, a call to unity... empowered by the Spirit to help build a world in which God's gift of life is welcomed, respected and cherished. A call to prayer!

One of my prayers is...

Abba, Father, Papa, Let Your direct intervention flow into this nation (all nations) and wipe away this surmounting debt we, your people and this country have incurred. Show us the way. Swiftly open the doors lead us to a safe, good fuel and energy source. There are some of us, who, to go places can only do so by driving. Show us Your Mercy Hand... full of glory and majesty... and let us not forget, in arrogance, all that you have given us. In the Holy Name of Jesus… Amen!

"We are children of Christ’s light – symbolized by lit candles – that we bear witness in our world to the radiance no darkness can overcome (cf. Jn 1:5)." Pope Benedict XVI

Thank You, Abba, Father...

I awoke this morning to coolness in the air; the sun, as it splashed it's warm light through the trees, is full of promises for a good day. This gift that is given to me... great is the Lord who made it; and at his command it hastens on its course.
In these early moments of this new day, I give thanks and know that God is the all; that the strength of my praise is from him...for he is even greater then his works
!

Blessed is the Lord for all that he has given me. Blessed is His Holy Name
... for He has spoken and it came to be; he commanded and it stood forth.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen... Psalm 33: 12

May the Son of God fill your day full of his healing light... may it well up within you in gratefulness n' you become the blessing to others!

With a Heart for Generosity...

Abba Father, you are there at every turn, every move I make; give ear to my supplications and instill in me a generous heart... Touch me with your finger, O God! Keep steady my steps.

Blessed are those who turn their heart to the Lord, who put false ways far from them. And strive for peace within their homes and security within their nation. Let their hearts be generous!

Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD,
who walks in his ways!
You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands;
you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you.
Psalm 128: 1,2

Prayers for...

I dedicate this prayer to Paul, a prisoner, and to all who in one way or another is a prisoner...

...Lord God, Papa, in your Infinite Mercy, free Paul from his misery and from the bondage of evil that is raping his soul. Swiftly set him free. With Paul in the palm of Your hand, fill him with joy and gladness; restore him to perfect health. In the Holy Name of Jesus... Amen!

Psalm 119: 175-176

I am your servant, but I have wandered away like a lost sheep. Please come after me, because I have not forgotten your teachings.

Praise the Holy Spirit of God too, who descended softly and gently from above upon you, to befriend you, anoint you and instruct you the Way; so glorify the Forerunner who flooded you with His Love and made you taste His intimate sweetness, lifting you on His Wings to soar the skies with Him; so be not afraid... (from Vassula... April, 1998)

May the chains from the Fowler be broken and blessings flow over you... n' become you!
