Sleep Sweet Jesus...

She asked him, "What should I call you?

Man? But your conception is divine.

God? But you are clothed with our flesh and blood.

What shall I do for you? Shall I nurse you with my milk or glorify you?

Shall I care for you like a mother or worship you like a maidservant?

Shall I kiss you like my son or pray to you like my God?

Should I give you milk or incense?

What an ineffable mystery!

Heaven uses you as a throne and you lie in my arms!

You give yourself wholly to the inhabitants of the earth,

Yet you do not deprive Heaven of your presence."

O' Night Divine...

With the Holy Night fast approaching I feel like that small shepherd who is so poor... I have nothing to bring to the Christ Child but my empty hands.

Thank you...Billy Gilman - O Holy Night - a video presentation from rantr13 n' youtube.

Father Cantalamessa’s Christmas reflection: "This emptying of one's hands and pockets of every pretension, in a spirit of poverty and humility, is the best way to prepare for Christmas.

"We are reminded of it by a delightful Christmas legend that I would like to mention again. It narrates that among the shepherds who ran on Christmas night to adore the Child, there was one who was so poor that he had nothing to offer and was very ashamed. Reaching the grotto all competed to offer their gifts. Mary did not know what to do to receive them all, having to hold the Child in her arms.

"Then, seeing the shepherd with his hands free, she entrusted Jesus to him. To have empty hands was his fortune and, on another plane, will also be ours."

May your Christmas be of empty hands,

Advent...Do You Need A Road Map?

This morning I began an Advent Retreat while listening to Franciscan Father Jim Van Verst... each week he leads us through a reflection based on the weeks scripture. I'm all ready, bags are packed and setting out on my journey to the manger. Can you just imagine our God who became a small helpless infant leaving... footprints for each of us?
So as you prepare for Christmas set aside about 30 minuets and be prepared to be in the presence of our Lord... to continue on the journey to eternity!

The Beauty of a Lily...

Do you want to be like a lily?

A lily does not worry about tomorrow; for each day has enough worries of its own. Can you, for all your worrying change anything on your own? God's plans are laid out for us and we must trust Jesus entirely! So, do you want to be a lily?

St. John Chrysostom wrote. In fact they are Your words, Your words to us through me; this is what You said:

"I, your father, I, your spouse, I, your home, I, your nurse, I, your root, I, your foundation. What ever you want. I will be. You lack nothing. I will work for you. For I came to serve and not to be served. I will be your friend and your host, your head and your brother, your sister and your mother. I will be everything. Only be intimate with me!
I will be poor for you, errant for you, on the Cross for you, in the tomb for you. Above I plead with the Father for your sake, on earth I became intercessor to the Father for your sake. You are everything for Me, brother, co-heir, friend and member. What more do you want?"

Lilies Of The Field... by John Michael Talbot

Don't worry about tomorrow. It will take care of itself. You have enough to worry about today. Matthew 6:34

O Lord, let me become repulsed of all that does not come from You, keep me hidden in You, give me wisdom to instruct me so that You through me can accomplish Your designs on Your Church. Let me , by inhaling from Your Mouth the graces I need to keep my soul tranquil and in peace. O Lord, let not one of your sheep be lost, let the fig tree blossom and the vine bear fruit. Jesus, I trust you...Amen.

Peace that comes from God...

God's Design for Women...

As I look around I see awakenings, suggesting that we are coming into the age of woman, but the age of woman as designed by God, in the image of Miriam of Nazareth. It is our devotion to the Virgin Mary the we can look upon her as our model, to emanate... defending the diginity and the essences of the women God has designed us to be. We as women are given gifts... given to each of us designed to help others develop their talents and charisms.

Fr. Cantalamessa says in his homily...The Age of the Woman
"We might hope that there will finally come, for humanity, the age of woman: the age of the heart, of tenderness, of compassion." I see this happening... it is a new day as "in the beginning" that we are able to love and walk with the Lord and therefore love and help all others...

For All Who Are In Need...

I wanted to share with you something that I heard about today, for all
who are in need at this time. Whenever Mother Teresa felt she needed
urgent help from heaven she used to gather her sisters together and say
what she called her 'Express Novena' . It was simply saying the
Memorare nine times in a row concentrating on Our Blessed Mother. For
all who are ill, or in pain or suffering of any kind today, I pray this
prayer for you. God bless and keep you all, and give you His peace
.

Memorare
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

Amen.

We need to come together and pray for one another... moving and living in the Holy Will of God.

God bless and keep you all,
Elizabeth

Psalm 150

Praise the LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty firmament! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his exceeding greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with timbrel and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Jesus Says...

Luke 15: 4-10
Jesus says "What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost, until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost.' Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance. "Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and seek diligently until she finds it? And when she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin which I had lost.' Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents."

Our Lord Jesus accepts us just as we are... call to Him, ask forgiveness from our hearts and seek His will in our lives.

Teach me Your will, for You are my God. May Your kind spirit guide me on ground that is level. Psalm 143: 10

Peace n' Blessings,

God and Man at Table Are Sat Down

"God and Man at Table Are Sat Down"

"O, welcome all ye noble saints of old, As now before your very eyes unfold,
The wonders all so long ago foretold, God and man at table are sat down,

God and man at table are sat down...

Elders, martyrs, all are falling down, Prophets, patriarchs are gathering ‘round. What angels longed to see now man has found, God and man at table are sat down,
God and man at table are sat down...

Who is this who spreads the victory feast? Who is this who makes our warring cease? Jesus, risen savior, prince of peace, God and man at table are sat down,
God and man at table are sat down...

Beggars, lame, and harlots also here, Repentant publicans are drawing near,Wayward sons come home without a fear, God and man at table are sat down,
God and man at table are sat down."

We Trust You, O Lord

We Entrust to You the New Millennium

Today we wish to entrust to you the future that awaits us, and we ask you to be with us on our way. We are the men and women of an extraordinary time, exhilarating yet full of contradictions.

Humanity now has instruments of unprecedented power: we can turn this world into a garden, or reduce it to a pile of rubble.
We have devised the astounding capacity to intervene in the very well-springs of life: man can use this power for good, within the bounds of the moral law, or he can succumb to the short-sighted pride of a science which accepts no limits, but tramples on the respect due to every human being.

Today as never before in the past, humanity stands at a crossroads. And once again, O Virgin Most Holy, salvation lies fully and uniquely in Jesus, your Son.

Pope John Paul II in the presence of 1,500 bishops in Rome, on October 8, 2000

God's voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding. Job 37:5

These words were said 8 years ago and our need to be in prayer today is for the Holy will of God, not our will but God's Will for these elections.

We need to trust in our Lord knowing that He is bigger then the storms. When we are in the middle of them we need to speak to the storm and tell the storm how big our God is...

We need to be in prayer for the good in all things... to turn this country, this world into a garden of Love and peace.

Remember, He created the universe, He parted the Red Sea and led His people out. He did it in His way not ours...

We do not need to live out of fear, He is with us...

Blessings,
Elizabeth

Abba Father's Love Letter ♥♥♥

Psalm 145
A Song of Praise… Of David. I will extol thee, my God and King, and bless thy name for ever and ever. Every day I will bless thee, and praise thy name for ever and ever. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall laud thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. On the glorious splendor of thy majesty, and on thy wondrous works, I will meditate. Men shall proclaim the might of thy terrible acts, and I will declare thy greatness. They shall pour forth the fame of thy abundant goodness, and shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. The LORD is gracious and merciful; slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. The LORD is good to all, and his compassion is over all that he has made. All thy works shall give thanks to thee, O LORD, and all thy saints shall bless thee! They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and tell of thy power, to make known to the sons of men thy mighty deeds, and the glorious splendor of thy* kingdom. Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endures throughout all generations. The LORD is faithful in all his words, and gracious in all his deeds. * The LORD upholds all who are falling, and raises up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look to thee, and thou gives them their food in due season. Thou opens thy hand, thou satisfies the desire of every living thing. The LORD is just in all his ways and kind in all his doings. The LORD is near to all who call upon him, to all who call upon him in truth. He fulfils the desire of all who fear him, he also hears their cry, and saves them. The LORD preserves all who love him; but all the wicked he will destroy. My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD, and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.

Thank you Abba Father for loving me...

A Call to Pray

I wrote this as one of my first blogs and I believe it is worth repeating...

Many years ago, I read a midrash story by Elie Wiesel. It was a story of an angel delivering a new soul at the moment of conception. I do not remember it word for word, but I do remember this hauntingly beautiful story of God’s love for us and of life, as we know it...begins at conception.

This is a paraphrase of that story... Try to see in your minds eye, to image a place of such beauty where you knew you were in the very Presence of God. There is His throne in all its glory of light vector, such a splendor as never before told. Behind the throne of God, on drapes of spun gold, hang all souls that God created when He formed the world. Each soul, shining in its own brilliance, each a precious, gentle, flickering gem waits to be clothed in the dust of Adams and Eves.
And as angels, heavenly messengers of God, see that it is time for these little souls to be born... they delight in this promise of life with song and dance before the throne of God. Then an angel tenderly removes a flickering, luminous soul from the gold hangings and begins its journey through the heavens to the womb of the mother. And on the journey, the angel tells the little soul all the secrets of the universe. That at the moment of birth all this knowledge is within the soul…
In time passing, I shared this story with a priest friend, who told me an extraordinary story of a young couple in his church. They had a new baby and when they brought him home and settled him in his crib, their little four year old asked if he could go in alone to see his new brother. The new parents agreed but were curious to this request, so they stood at the door and overheard their son as he approached the crib…”Quick, tell me all about God, I’m beginning to forget.”
How can we justify the murdering of little souls through abortion...souls waiting to be born into a life full of the knowledge of God. Abba Father, forgive us... our sins are mighty...

Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any wicked* way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!

Psalm 139: 23, 24

Abba Father...Open our hearts, our minds...let Your Holy Will be done,

Jesus... Jesus... Jesus...

ONE MINUTE EACH NIGHT

I received this from a friend this morning and feel a need to share it with you.

"This election has the world in an uproar, but we as Christians have got to seek God for the answers.

We all need to be on our knees.

Do you believe we can take God at His word? Call upon His name, then stand back and watch His wonders to behold. This scripture gives us, as Christians, ownership of this land and the ability to call upon God to heal it. I challenge you to do so. We have never been more desperate than now for God to heal our land. This election is the scariest I remember in my lifetime.

2 Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land".

During WWII , there was an advisor to Churchill who organized a group of people who dropped what they were doing every night at a prescribed hour for one minute to collectively pray for the safety of England , its people and peace. This had an amazing effect as bombing stopped. There is now a group of people organizing the same thing here in America .

The United States of America and our citizens need prayer more than ever!!!
If you would like to participate:
Each evening at 9:00 PM Eastern Time (8:00 PM Central, 7:00PM Mountain,6:00 PM Pacific), stop whatever you are doing and spend one minute praying for the safety of the United States, our troops, our citizens, for peace in the world, the up-coming election, and that Christianity will grow in the U.S.

If you know anyone who would like to participate, please pass this along.
Someone said if people really understood the full extent of the power we have available through prayer, we might be speechless. Our prayers are the most powerful asset we have.
Thank You!"

Our Lady reminds us not to worry when she asks us to read Mt 6:24-34 every Thursday… where Jesus says 3 times, "Don't worry."

"Don't Worry" Gospel

I've heard that Matthew 6: 24-34 is referred to as the "Don't Worry Gospel" and that maybe we should read it every day. It seems so easy to take our eyes off of Jesus when all around us there are political smear tactics*...as well as the fear of the world economy.

"No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink, nor about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
And which of you by being anxious can add one cubit to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing?
Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O men of little faith?
Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the Gentiles seek all these things; and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things shall be yours as well. "Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Let the day's own trouble be sufficient for the day. Matthew 6: 24-34

I recall someone once telling me that we are supposed to have our Bibles open to that Psalm in our homes as protection.

Psalm 91
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High, who abides in the shadow of the Almighty, will say to the LORD, "My refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust."

For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence; he will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday.

A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you. You will only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked. Because you have made the LORD your refuge, * the Most High your habitation, no evil shall befall you, no scourge come near your tent. For he will give his angels charge of you to guard you in all your ways. On their hands they will bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.

You will tread on the lion and the adder, the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot. Because he cleaves to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name. When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will rescue him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show him my salvation

In these two readings, Abba, Father has told us not to fear and not to worry. I find comfort in reading them every day with the world tumbling down around us. Our faith, our trust is in God, not in man!

Blessings,

Elizabeth

We Hear You, Lord...

With all the break downs throughout the world... this message sent to me today speaks deeply of Hope and Renewal. We need to keep our focus on God, our eyes on the Creator of all!

"My peace be with you, I intend to flower this desert and make fountains out of arid lands, fountains that will spring from My House; I will bring this faithless generation back to Me, but before this happens many who are first now will be last, and the last, first; learn that your Creator will carry out His Works and these Works will testify that He has sent in the world His creature to Glorify Him; through these Works, a light will shine in your darkness, in fact it began shining already; delight Me and hold on to the hem of My clothes and again, I remind you: do not be concerned and do not seek for the approval that comes from the world, seek only your Creator's approval;
My pupil, work hard though to honour the One who sent you; sincerity pleases the Father and ah .... everything the Father has is Mine and everything I Own is yours; come be patient; I Jesus love you and bless you: revive My Church; we, us? "

(From True Life in God...April 9, 1993)

Then they cried out to the Lord because of their problems.
And he brought them out of their troubles.
He made the storm as quiet as a whisper.
The waves of the ocean calmed down.
The people were glad when the ocean became calm.
Then he guided them to the harbor they were looking for.
Let them give thanks to the Lord for his faithful love.
Let them give thanks for the miracles he does for his people.
Let them honor him among his people who gather for worship.
Let them praise him in the meeting of the elders.
He turned rivers into a desert.
He turned flowing springs into thirsty ground.
He turned land that produced crops into a salty land where nothing could grow.
He did it because the people who lived there were evil.
He turned the desert into pools of water.
He turned the dry and cracked ground into flowing springs.
He brought hungry people there to live.
They built a city where they could settle down.
They planted fields and vineyards
that produced large crops.
He blessed the people, and they greatly increased their numbers.
He kept their herds from getting smaller.

Isaiah 54:5

In these days of chaos all over the world this message Vassula wrote on July 23, 1991, really speaks to me and calls me into prayer, prayer and more prayer. I want to share it with you...

"For your Creator is your Husband,
the Lord of hosts is His Name."
Isaiah 54:5

Yahweh my Father whom I adore and long for, You who led me out of the countries underneath the earth and who
lifted my soul entering it, consuming it with Your Fire and leaving me in total rapture for You;
Yahweh, Your Majesty and King of Kings, You who lead me by this marvelous road, keep me free from sin and from falling; I am a sinner and am more apt to sin than do good; fortify your city ...

Be in peace, I the Lord love you; take My Hand and follow Me; pray My Vassula for there is still a long way to go for your perfection; you are not exempt from sin nor from falling and falls you will have, but I am near you to help you up and press you on My Heart so that you may feel My Love and how I cherish you; come, we shall pray together:

Father, come to our help and guide our steps to perfection, bring back our divinity and make us the perfect dwelling of Your Holiness; Amen

Jesus?

I Am;

My Holy Spirit, My Vassula shall go to the very ends of the earth and seek even the least amongst you to save you from the disastrous abomination that dwells within many of you now .... the Heavens soon shall deluge at My Coming upon you; I, the Lord have done many wonders for you and shall do more in these coming days; (The fall of Communism in Russia after the 3-day Poutsch.)

Pray My child, pray for those who offend My Holiness and blaspheme My Holy Spirit calling My Spirit foolish; have I not said: "... everyone who says a word against the Son of man will be forgiven, but no one who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will be forgiven;" (Luke. 12:10) for the Spirit is not opposed to the Son nor is the Father to the Spirit, since all three of Us agree; (1 John 5:8.) many of you are condemning My Celestial manifestations and persecuting those whom My Spirit speaks through them because you do not believe they come from Me;

Daughter, look at the Wounds of My Body
(Jesus' garment was soaked in His Own Blood, His ankles which I could see had blood with wounds like stripes) .... I have little time left now before My Father's Hand strikes this generation; listen to your Father from whom you are sprung; listen to His Voice:

I went all ways, seeking to gather you and remind you to live holy since I am Holy, but only a remnant of you pay attention when I speak; I have spoken through those you call contemptible; I have spoken through weakness and poverty, but you have made a cult in persecuting My Holy Spirit that guides them, to the point of frenzy!!

I have been sending you through them the spirit of Elijah and the spirit of Moses, those two witnesses dressed in sackcloth,
(Ap. 11:3) to prophesy and remind you of My Law, before My great Return; they are to speak to you in My Name and bring you back to the Truth and back to your senses;

But over you spread a heavy darkness and your claims to your knowledge became a battlefield to My Knowledge: the Lie was and is persecuting the Truth, but Scriptures never lie; it was said that 'the beast (In this context God made me understand that beast meant: lie.) that comes out of the Abyss is going to make war on them and overcome them and kill them;' (Ap. 11:7.) indeed your battlefield is drenched now with innocent blood, because My Holy Spirit of prophecy has become a plague to those who belong to the world; (God is alluding to Ap. 11:10: '...because these two prophets have been a plague to the people of the world.') their frenzied persecutions and total rejection they have for My mouthpieces are similar to those of Sodom; their stubbornness to open their heart and comply, their refusal to open their ear and listen to My Voice today, have gone beyond the stubbornness of Pharaoh in Egypt; (God is alluding to Ap. 11:8: ... their corpses will lie in the main street of the Great City known by the symbolic names Sodom and Egypt (...))

Today I am giving you "things that no eye has seen and no ear has heard, things beyond the mind of man," (1 Cor. 2:9) all these things that lift your spirit to call Me Abba; My Holy Spirit is calling you all to true devotion and to a better knowledge of God Himself, that is why I am continually repeating the same truths given to you; I shall continue calling you until I break through your deafness, generation, I shall not stop calling you in agony, not until I hear from you the word:

Abba!

The new heavens and new earth are soon upon you,

Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you! Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

One Spirit...

We need to be there for one another...

"Call to Me and I will answer you." Jeremiah 33:1

We are living in tumultuous times, we can come together, and pray together... right now, for people around
the world... sending forth a real blessing of God to everyone.

Knowing that our trust is only in the Will of God, who is working in our lives. In our own way, our own mind, let go of any concern and realize there is nothing to fear.

For all the people, all the great concers that we are praying for today... know that in Spirit there is no distance in time or space. We are together praying for the good to be in all ways. As we pray, lifting all our concerns, all gratitude to Him... we know that we are making a difference, a lasting difference in their lives and in our world.

There is but one Presence and one Power in the universe, God the good,
the Omnipotent One.”

For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12:13

Jesus died for us... How will we live for him?

Out Of The Mouths Of Babes...

I want to share with you some stories that I read from an online prayer group... Queen of peace in Medjugorje...
This first one affirms for me one of my early blogs; "A Story of Life" June 6, 2006.

"Thank you, Sue Ann and June! You make me anxious to share a special experience when doing the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd with children 3 to 5 years old. I had just finished telling the Bible story to the Catechesis class, and I ended with ....."and the people loved Jesus so-o-o much, ....and Jesus loves us so-o-o much!" I looked up at the class, who seemed to be in that world with Jesus. My 5-year-old grandson was in that class. He, too, was just staring into space, and when I said "...and Jesus loves us so-o-o much", he answered softly "yeah.... ."
I am convinced we are so close to God when born, and seem to grow away from God with our years. Thank God for " conversion" experiences! " One of my own was standing next to the Christmas creche under our Christmas tree, as a small child, enjoying the scent of the cookies my Mother was baking in the kitchen, and looking at the Blessed family, and crying softly with tears of joy."
Love, Peace, Blessings... Jeanette

"Thank you, June for sharing your Grandson's beautiful response to the raising of Our Lord's body at Mass. There are so many instances when we can learn so much about our faith if we just listen to the children. Perhaps this would be a good place and time for us to share some of our experiences : this Christmas Eve, I was at Mass with my Grandson. The choir had just finished singing a well known song when he looked up at me and asked, "Who's Gloria ?". God Bless the Children," Sue Ann

"Today is First Friday, which reminds me of something that happened last First Friday.I took my grandson Thomas, who had just turned 2 the week before, to First Friday Mass with me. I told him he had to be quiet because we were going to church. He said, "Be quiet" as we walked in. And he was. Although he talks a blue streak now, he did not say one word, until the Consecration when the priest elevated the Host, and then Thomas whispered, "Jesus." I thought I would cry. Out of the mouths of babes.... How many adults do not believe that the Host is Jesus??? Our Lady always addresses us "Dear children" - she wants us to have that faith of a child. This echoes what we heard in yesterday's gospel:He called a child over, placed it in their midst, and said, "Amen, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the Kingdom of heaven.Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven."...June Klins
And the little children shall lead us...
May the Heavens open their windows and shower over you blessings n' they become you...

Jesus Without You I Am Nothing...

A prayer... Jesus asks us to pray... from Vassula (a prophet of today, whom Pope Benedict encourages us to become familiar with).

Jesus be my support, without You I am nothing, without You my table is empty, without You I am defeated; be my Inspiration and fill me, be my Refuge and my Strength, I love You and my will is Yours,
So be it; Amen

O WHAT SORROW YOU CAUSE ME, GENERATION
May 30, 1995 Back to Bethlehem

Vassula, I am with you and all I ask is love; tell them and let them all understand that love is the way to heaven love conquers hearts and enlarges My Kingdom... love is the key to end up this Apostasy... love is given to you freely, ask for the gift of love and I will give it to you. My Love Theme
(this message) is given to all nations and those who want to hear it will hear it.
Pray, pray, pray but do it with love; open your hearts and I will heal them; repay evil with love, seek good and Goodness from above will answer you and turn you into Our likeness. I know all things and I observe all things and what I see in this generation is not according to Our likeness; insolence, violence, greed, vainglory, wickedness that surpassed the wickedness of the demons, rebellion against Me and all that is holy, and all the vices that can bring your soul to ruin are what most of this generation practises. Every kind of wrong-doing is sin .... lift your eyes and be eager to find Me and do not fall victims to worldly beauty, for the worship of that sort of beauty is the cause of so much evil; to crown now your wickedness you embroidered your plan to the likeness of the beast and together (with the beast), generation, you will commit your crime:
to abolish My Perpetual Sacrifice and erect in its place the disastrous abomination.

Have you not heard: "when the upright man renounces his integrity to commit sin and dies because of this, he dies because of the evil that he himself has committed, but when the sinner renounces sin to become law-abiding and honest, he deserves to live; he has chosen to renounce all his previous sins; he shall certainly live; he shall not die;" (Ez: 18:26-28).
My Eyes shed tears of Blood and My Eyelids run with weeping, O what sorrow you cause Me, generation, because Death has climbed into your house and you do not realize it! so very few repent .... but most of you, generation, are not saying what you ought to: you do not repent of your wickedness saying: 'what have I done with my life, my soul and my heart?' the slightest sign of regret for your sins, and I will forgive and forget; happy the ones who meditate on My words and My appeal and reason with good sense, they shall be saved;
I bless you with all My Heart I bless you; ic

Abba, Father, You are so powerful, so awesome... all things are possible with you! Draw us together to pray for one another, for the world, that we all turn our hearts to you. You can draw up from the stones the right leadership for our countries. You can eliminate all EVIL... You are a God of Love and Compassion...forgive us, O' Lord, for our sins are mighty.
We ask You to bring the right people to govern our land... the world countries. Give us the gift of discernment n' let us choose wisely. Surround us with your Almighty Army of Holy Angels to protect us and minister to us.
Let there be mass conversions, the veil removed from the eyes of lost souls.
Thank you, Father, God , thank you... Mother Mary hide us under your mantel, St. Joseph pray for us, all Saints pray for us! Please, turn our hearts to you, our eyes to you Lord Jesus... Jesus... Jesus...Jesus...
May God's Blessings fall on you and become you,
Elizabeth

Two Treasures...

"Two treasures of the Christian faith: the Holy Spirit and the Cross."

"The Spirit opens human intelligence to horizons that surpass it and makes it understand the beauty and truth of God's love revealed, in fact, on the cross," the Holy Father explained. "A love of which no one will be able to separate us, and that is experienced by giving one's life as Christ did."

"With all that is happening in the world and in our lives, I want to share with you two very powerful novenas... to 'the Shoulder Wound of Jesus' and 'the Sacred Heart of Jesus.' "

Oh loving Jesus, meek lamb of God, I a miserable sinner salute and worship the most sacred wound of Thy Shoulder, On which Thou didst bear Thy heavy cross, which so tore Thy flesh and laid Thy bones as to inflict an anguish greater than any other wound of Thy most Blessed Body.I adore Thee, Oh Jesus most sorrowful, I praise and glorify Thee, and give thankfully to thee for this most Holy and sacred and painful wound, beseeching Thee by that exceeding pain, and by the crushing burden of Thy heavy Cross to be merciful to me on towards Heaven along the way of Thy Cross. In Jesus name (intentions) Amen to all.

And...

A Prayer to the Sacred Heart when in difficulties... Almighty arms in Jesus I come before you with all my faith begging you for comfort in my difficult situation. Do not forsake me good Jesus, open your doors in my way that your almighty arms will open and close as you desire. (Make your petitions for 3 difficulties.) Oh my God receive this supplication from a wounded heart that is always fighting for life, with your divine power never let me scramble for want of help. Almighty Jesus assist me to find shelter in my celestial country. Amen.

This prayer is so powerful that you will get the request no matter how difficult it may be. Start this prayer on a Friday lighting a candle and putting it out after prayer. This same candle should be lit for 5 days while praying. Then publish at
www.light-a-candle.org

"The more we try to follow in the footsteps of Jesus of Nazareth on the roads of Galilee, so much the more will we understand that he has taken charge of our humanity, sharing in everything except sin. Our faith is not born from a myth or an idea, but from an encounter with the Risen One, in the life of the Church." Pope Benedict XVI

May the God of Love And Peace be with you...

Blessings,
Elizabeth

PSALMS 46: 1-11

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth should change, though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea: though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble with its tumult. *Selah...(pause and meditate)

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High. God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God will help her right early. The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; he utters his voice, the earth melts. The Lord of host is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. *Selah

Come behold the works of the Lord, how he has wrought desolation in the earth. he makes wars cease to the end of the earth; he breaks the bow, and shatters the spear, he burns the chariots with fire! "Be still and know that I am God. I am exalted among the nations, I am exalted in the earth!"
The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. *Selah

As I meditate on these words an inner peace, an inner assurance fills me... knowing that in these troubled days our Lord God is in control. Be still...

Peace of the Lord be with you and those you hold dear to your heart,

Elizabeth

No One Else But You...

Abba Father... Teach me how to love... teach me how to see!

Prayer of St. Francis

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace, Where there is hatred, let me sow love;where there is injury, pardon;where there is doubt, faith;where there is despair, hope;where there is darkness, light;where there is sadness, joy;
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing." Romans15:13

Elizabeth

A Story of God's Love...

I want to share a story and insight from a dear prayer warrier. Theresa has a beautiful way of seeing God working in the life of His child... as is illustrated in her prayer letter to us.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
When our situations have been reduced to rubble and dust... God creates the biggest miracles. When God created Adam ... He needed nothing more than dust and the power of his breath. Genesis 2:7 and the Lord formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life: and man became a living soul. I have a good friend. As a child he was terribly abused. He was not allowed any play things what so ever. One day... with tear filled eyes… he told me how he had been sent to his room for days... to just sit on the floor. As he sat, he saw dust beneath the bed. He reached and picked some up; he pinched and rolled…till he formed a tiny football. He spoke of the hours of joy he spent playing with the tiny football made of dust. As he spoke my heart swelled with love and gratitude for our Lord. I said to my friend.... My how God loved you. He took dust and formed man... He took dust and formed you a toy. My friend replied... I never thought of that. What was once such a terrible tragedy in his life now was a miracle as he had seen Gods love and hand for himself. Thank you Lord. No problem is too big or too small for You. So today I pray for those who feel their lives have been reduced to rubble and dust. Thank You Father. Your greatest miracles... Your greatest gifts... came from dust... touched by Your almighty love. God is working with the dust of our lives... He will create miracles.

Love Therese

As I read this prayer letter I cried at the sweetness of our God.

May you be blest beyond all you desire and may you see His Hand in your life and the world around you.
