A Study in Clay

I often wonder...
"
What would happen... If I looked at my experiences, as watching the Potter taking a chunk of raw clay mold it, and form it, into a vessel of pure beauty…"
Lead is turned to gold... Misfortune changes to fortune... Disease leads to a
greater healing. Many times we are healthier after a disease than we were before it.
Would my life change if I accepted my problem as a solution? Knowing that whatever the problem, (be it psychological or physical, financial, professional, interpersonal, etc.), when properly looked at leads to a greater outcome then before.

"Think good, positively and it will be good…” This too is for the good, the best... No matter what happens, accept it as Divine Providence, even the mistakes are necessary." These thoughts, this attitude will change my life!

As in this ancient Chinese story about a farmer whose only horse ran away. His neighbor commented, "That's too bad." To which the farmer replied, "You can't be sure." When the horse returned followed by twelve wild mares the neighbor said, "That's terrific." To which the farmer replied, "Don't speak too soon." Then, when the farmer's son broke his leg trying to break the wild horses, the neighbor intoned, "That's a pity." "Wait and see," counseled the farmer. And then the army came through the village and didn't draft the son into a war from which few returned, because he had a broken leg.

I love this image of seeing “life” as a house. Try it, and imagine your emotions as objects in the house. You can see some things are out of place: Maybe you find a bed in the kitchen (Now why is that there?); you can't prepare a meal on it and it's hard to sleep with everyone coming and going. The frying pan doesn't make sense in the bedroom either. Remember these are emotions and they are valid; they just might be out of place. The denied anger needs a place, instead of inappropriately being blamed on others. Disease needs a home, or at least a room in the house.

So a little remodeling needs to be done, build a room with a beautiful interior and filled with Healing Light, the light of Jesus, in the house, let these negative emotions live there until Jesus and you can clean them up a bit (like the misplaced anger, maybe forgiveness is needed and the’ dis-ease’ is comforted) and then invite them to the front of the house. They are apart of your experiences, the threads in the tapestry of your life and when healed will create a stronger beautiful vessel.

Isaiah 64:8
Yet, O Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our Potter, and we all are the work of Your hand.

All The Works of Our Lord Are Good

O' Spirit Divine...let there be love and renewed prosperity in my life and let it cover over the earth!

Jesus says to his children,
"
Listen to Me then and blossom, give off a sweet smell like incense, spread your fragrance abroad, bless Me your Lord for all My Works, declare the greatness of My Name, proclaim how wonderful My Providential Works can be." (from Vassula)

Psalm 133... Behold, how good and how pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down upon the beard, upon the beard of Aaron, running down upon the collar of his robes! It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion: For there the Lord commanded the blessing... life for evermore.

Psalm 134 Come bless the Lord, all you servants of the Lord, who stand by night in the house of the Lord. Lift up your hands to the holy place, and bless the Lord! May the Lord bless you from Zion, he who made heaven and earth!

A Matter of Time...

I truly believe a new day is on us, a time when the Holy Spirit is covering the earth. A call is being heard, a call to unity... empowered by the Spirit to help build a world in which God's gift of life is welcomed, respected and cherished. A call to prayer!

One of my prayers is...

Abba, Father, Papa, Let Your direct intervention flow into this nation (all nations) and wipe away this surmounting debt we, your people and this country have incurred. Show us the way. Swiftly open the doors lead us to a safe, good fuel and energy source. There are some of us, who, to go places can only do so by driving. Show us Your Mercy Hand... full of glory and majesty... and let us not forget, in arrogance, all that you have given us. In the Holy Name of Jesus… Amen!

"We are children of Christ’s light – symbolized by lit candles – that we bear witness in our world to the radiance no darkness can overcome (cf. Jn 1:5)." Pope Benedict XVI

Thank You, Abba, Father...

I awoke this morning to coolness in the air; the sun, as it splashed it's warm light through the trees, is full of promises for a good day. This gift that is given to me... great is the Lord who made it; and at his command it hastens on its course.
In these early moments of this new day, I give thanks and know that God is the all; that the strength of my praise is from him...for he is even greater then his works
!

Blessed is the Lord for all that he has given me. Blessed is His Holy Name
... for He has spoken and it came to be; he commanded and it stood forth.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen... Psalm 33: 12

May the Son of God fill your day full of his healing light... may it well up within you in gratefulness n' you become the blessing to others!

With a Heart for Generosity...

Abba Father, you are there at every turn, every move I make; give ear to my supplications and instill in me a generous heart... Touch me with your finger, O God! Keep steady my steps.

Blessed are those who turn their heart to the Lord, who put false ways far from them. And strive for peace within their homes and security within their nation. Let their hearts be generous!

Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD,
who walks in his ways!
You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands;
you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you.
Psalm 128: 1,2

Prayers for...

I dedicate this prayer to Paul, a prisoner, and to all who in one way or another is a prisoner...

...Lord God, Papa, in your Infinite Mercy, free Paul from his misery and from the bondage of evil that is raping his soul. Swiftly set him free. With Paul in the palm of Your hand, fill him with joy and gladness; restore him to perfect health. In the Holy Name of Jesus... Amen!

Psalm 119: 175-176

I am your servant, but I have wandered away like a lost sheep. Please come after me, because I have not forgotten your teachings.

Praise the Holy Spirit of God too, who descended softly and gently from above upon you, to befriend you, anoint you and instruct you the Way; so glorify the Forerunner who flooded you with His Love and made you taste His intimate sweetness, lifting you on His Wings to soar the skies with Him; so be not afraid... (from Vassula... April, 1998)

May the chains from the Fowler be broken and blessings flow over you... n' become you!

Prayers From The Heart...

My Lord, My God...O' Papa, Please forgive me my sins and as I come before you I plead with you not to harden my heart, help me keep it pure n' humble. Place me inside Your Heart. Have mercy on me Lord, let my heart be one of compassion that I can pray with the eyes and heart of Jesus. Leave me not in the agony of tears, but heal me... fill me with joy n' happiness. Help me to give all my worries n' problems to the Blessed Mother, that I am able to pray Her intentions... for the lost souls, for the changing world that it may be a gentler transformation from evil to all that is good. To unity... to love! In the Holy Name of Jesus... Jesus...Jesus...Jesus... Amen!

Let my heart sing with thoughts and images of You, O Lord!

May the Hand of God rest on your lives... with prosperity for the soul!

May God Bless...

I dedicate this writing to my son and all those in search of a love that is true n' faithful.

"May God bless you and may He send St. Raphael to go with you that your journey is successful.
Grant that you may find mercy and grow old together as husband and wife. Amen."

"But seek first his kingdom and righteousness and all these things shall be yours as well." Matthew 6:33

The Rosary...A Secret Weapon

The Holy Spirit is blanketing the earth... we can see this happening, if we have eyes to see n' ears to hear... such as in this news article from Catholic.org... "Many Colombians also view the Rosary as the "secret weapon" that made the recent rescuing of 15 hostages possible - without a single shot fired." It states further that because of thousands of Colombians have been praying the Rosary for years for the release of the numerous hostages being held by rebel groups. The devotion and commitment one has to Jesus and Mary is so powerful.

O, Abba, Father, forgive us our sins, remove the smoke from our eyes that we may see the Truth... that we will not continue to crucify Your Son, our Lord... Jesus Christ. Let us make the choice of 'LOVE' n' bring it into our homes. Let our prayers become one, a sweet incense, as they rise before your throne. Let our actions be pleasing to Your Ears, Your Eyes...Your Heart.

Praise the Lord, all nations! Extol him, all peoples!
For great is his steadfast love towards us: and the faithfulness of the Lord endures for ever. Praise the Lord! Psalms 117: 1-2

I Am With You

As your mercy falls, my Lord I will praise you where ever I am.

My God is near whenever I call upon Him... to all who call upon Him in truth. He fulfills the desires of all who fear Him, He also hears the cries and saves them. Our God preserves us in the storm... all who love Him...

I will lift my song of praise to my Lord!
...praying from Psalm 145

May He meet the road before you as it rises up and may His blessings fall over you and become you...

Happy the people to whom such blessings fall!
Happy the people whose God is the Lord!

The Power in Prayer…

I believe that when I come before Jesus n’ ask Him what to pray for in my needs, my desires, my concerns … I trust then that my prayer is His will.

Jesus tells us as we read Luke 24:36-49, ...when He came to those gathered together, after rising from the dead on the third day, showing them He was not a spirit but of flesh n’ bone. He said to them, he opened their minds... open the eyes of their hearts... that all that was written in scripture was fulfilled; that repentance n’ forgiveness of sins in his name was to be spread through out the world… that they were not alone.

He said, “ And behold, I send the promise ( the Holy Spirit) of my Father upon you; but stay in the city, until you are clothed with power from on high. RSV

We live in a world that is unsettling and in constant change; it all seems to be happening at a rapid speed. Let us come together in prayer… pray for what He puts on our hearts . That we become of one accord in prayer, Acts 1:14… and pray for one another!

May Jesus lift his hands and bless all of us...
